President’s Trump is right about using a Very Powerful Light to eradicate the new Coronavirus

In his quest to find an early cure for Covid-19 President Trump offered to buy a German biopharmaceutical firm to develop a coronavirus vaccine for the US. The German Health Ministry confirmed in March 2020 that the offer had been made but said that Germany was very “interested in ensuring that vaccines and active substances against the new coronavirus are also developed in Germany and Europe” and not exclusively patented in the US. Germany also made clear to the US Administration that the Tubingen-based German CureVac company, which also has offices in Frankfurt and Boston, was not for sale.

Last week on 23 April in one of his daily White House press briefings on coronavirus response, President Trump delved deeper in his search for a quick cure for Covid-19. Replying to a journalist, he said: “supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re going to test that too… So, we’ll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute – that’s pretty powerful.”

At the same press briefing President Trump also suggested injecting pesticides into human body to see if they can eradicate the nasty coronavirus from settling into human lungs. He said: “I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute, and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? … Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that. You’re gonna have to use medical doctors.”

These claims became a butt of jokes on the social media. Doctors were quick to appeal to the public not to ingest or inject bleach or disinfectant into the human body. The next day, Lysol, a US maker of cleaning products, issued a statement warning consumers against the internal use of the company’s cleaning products to pre-empt any insurance claims for any possible fatalities caused by the President’s wild suggestions.

Putting jokes aside, there is some truth to the fact that viruses do not survive when exposed to sunlight or for that matter ultraviolet light or lasers. But once the virus has penetrated human organs, sitting in sunshine or exposing human body to light cannot kill it inside the body.

But one religious community does believe in “very powerful light” which can penetrate human body and land directly in human organs such as mind and heart to cure them of all diseases. Their belief is rooted in the idea that God Almighty is all light (Noor) and a small fraction of His divine light is given to those human beings who seek it to guard against evil and guide them to the right path. A popular Muslim supplication, tracing back to the supplications of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah preserve him and protect him, reads as follows:

Allahumma Ajal fi qalbi noora, wa fi basari noora, wa fi samii noora, wa an yamini noora, wa an yasari noora, wa fawqi noora, wa tahti noora, wa amami noora, wa khalfi noora, waj’al li noora.

Translation: “O Allah, place light in my heart, and place light in my eyesight, and place light in my hearing, and place light on my left, and place light on my right, and place light above me, and place light below me, and place light in front of me, and place light behind me, (O Allah) grant me light. [Source: Sahih Bukhari, Book 75, Hadith 328].

By reciting this supplication a believer is assured that His heart and body will be filled with very powerful light (Noor) and act as a shield against all evil and problems. The beauty of this light is that it is free of cost. Anyone can receive it if he places his faith in the one and only God Almighty, the ever living and powerful Lord of the universe and celestial heavens.

President Trump isn’t wrong about getting a very power light after all.
